Autumn Sunset Assortment

Several important vineyard sites form this Gigondas, including Gour de Chaulé, Les Blaches, and Les Bousquets. The Grenache vines average well over a half century in age, with low yields of 30-32 hl/ha. The grapes are never destemmed and there is a 3 week cuvaison with a small amount of press juice added back to the cuvée. The wine is racked into large oak “foudres” after malo where it stays for approximately 18 months, being bottled—unfined and unfiltered—three years after harvest. The resulting wine is sturdy, braced with sweet, dusty tannins, and is intensely aromatic with notes of crushed white pepper, oriental spices and game.

Brilliant grenade red in colour with soft orange notes, it is rich, complex, tannic and pleasant on the nose with hints of raspberry.

The "Grosse Pierre" cuvée from Florent Cosme is a plot selection of Chenin, in the Vouvray appellation. The vines are located on the first coast (the best terroirs of the appellation), in the commune of Noizay. Vinification takes place with native yeasts then the wine is aged in stainless steel vats for a period of 6 months. This is the only Florent cuvée which does not see wood at all, the objective being to offer a fruit cuvée, immediately accessible and oriented towards gourmandise. This Grosse Pierre brings beautiful flavors of yellow fruit, with a fine touch of fat, voluptuous but without falling into heaviness. The finish even finds a fine, very classy salivating note which gives it length and freshness. A perfect apéritif wine, which tastes dry but without any harshness, at a friendly price.

Straw-coloured with green sparkles. Intense aroma with hints of tropical fruits (pineapple, citrus fruits….).
